But then having too much of salt in your regular daily diet is not very healthy. Mainly people who are suffering from heart problems should try and avoid lowering the amount of salt intake.
A number of diseases other than heart problems like osteoporosis, obesity, cancer, etc are said to be affected by the increase in the amount of salt intake. In short any diseases caused by or related to high blood pressure problems are said to be affected largely by the increase in the salt intake.
So it advisable that the intake of salt should be lowered mainly for those who are already having high blood pressure or heart problems. Recent medical research has proved that there have steady developments in the health condition of people who have been suffering from high blood pressure problems.
